Zion Apostolic Ministries International ("ZAMIE", "we", "our", or "us") provides EchoChamber as a Christian media outreach and sermon repository. EchoChamber enables church members, visitors, and global listeners to access audio sermons, teachings, scripture messages, synchronized lyrics, and conference recordings.

We strictly respect your privacy. EchoChamber is an ad-free ministry platform. We do not sell your personal data, nor do we track your activity across third-party websites or services.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect basic information needed to provide audio streaming and manage your personal listening library:

• Account Information: When you register with your email or sign in with Google or Apple, we store your name, email address, username, profile photo (if provided), and login credentials.
• Library & Preferences: Sermons you like, playlists you create, speakers you follow, and playback progress so you can resume listening across your devices.
• Offline Downloads: Sermons you choose to download for offline listening stay stored locally inside the app on your device.
• Device Information: Basic device type (iOS/Android) and push notification token (if enabled) to deliver sermon announcements and church broadcasts.

3. Device Permissions

EchoChamber requests only the standard permissions required to deliver audio playback:

• Background Audio: Allows sermon playback to continue when your screen is locked or while multitasking in other apps.
• Local Network / Casting: Allows you to stream sermon audio to Google Cast or AirPlay compatible speakers on your local Wi-Fi.
• Notifications (Optional): Sends alerts for new sermon uploads, followed speaker updates, and church announcements. You can turn this on or off anytime in device settings.
• Photo Library / Camera (Optional): Used only if you choose to upload a custom profile picture.
• Storage: Saves sermon audio files on your device for offline listening.

4. How We Use Your Information

Your data is processed strictly for ministry and streaming operations:

• To stream sermon audio, Bible study messages, and synchronized lyrics.
• To synchronize your library, custom playlists, liked sermons, and playback progress.
• To send optional push notifications about new sermons and church broadcasts.
• To maintain account security and prevent unauthorized access.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Your data is used strictly by our secure cloud hosting infrastructure to stream sermons, sync your personal library, and deliver push notifications.

6. Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard physical, organizational, and technical safeguards to secure your personal information:

• All communications between our mobile apps, web portal, and servers are encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 / HTTPS protocols.
• Passwords are secured with cryptographic salts and bcrypt hashing.
• Access to backend administration systems is strictly restricted to authorized ZAMIE Church technical personnel via multi-factor authentication.
• We retain your personal data only as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with the EchoChamber service.

7. Account Deletion and User Data Rights

In compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play Store Data Safety policies, you have complete control over your account and personal data:

• Request deletion from the app: Open Settings → Delete Account to open our deletion request form in your browser. Opening the form does not delete your account. Our admin team verifies and processes requests within 30 calendar days, then permanently removes your account and associated personal data from our servers.
• Web Deletion Requests: If you no longer have the mobile app installed, you can submit an account deletion request via our public portal at https://echochamber.ca/delete-account.html or by emailing [email protected] with your registered email address. All associated data will be verified and permanently expunged within 30 calendar days.
• Local Data Clearance: Uninstalling the application immediately deletes all cached audio and local offline sermon files from your device.

8. Children's Privacy

EchoChamber is not directed toward children under 13 years of age (or under 16 where required by European law). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under these ages. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will promptly delete that data from our servers.

9. International Transfers and Governing Law

EchoChamber is operated by Zion Apostolic Ministries International from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. If you access the service from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to and processed on servers located in Canada and the United States. This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory updates. Any material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of EchoChamber following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
